Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and the flautist piano for three years. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit prior to her group being requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish politician and singer. After minor success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 contains cover versions of songs including No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale.
